Alex (Sandy)'s Story

Life After graduating from SPB, my family moved to CT. I got my BA in English from CCSU, then spent two years in the Peace Corps in Colombia, SA. After the PC, I earned an MAT at Colgate and taught school in CT and on LI. Married Mary and had two children: Jim and Patty. Moved with family to MA in 1980 to get doctorate at UMASS. Started consulting as a doctor...Expand for more
al student and continued for the next twenty years. Mary and I are now retired. We have four grandchildren: two local and two in TX. I spend my time volunteering to help immigrants and refugees learn English and chasing after my two grandsons. I'm also a politics and news junkie. We recently got a shelter dog, "Buddy," whom we are both enjoying training.
